To be honest though, as a Whovian, I wouldn’t be all that terrified if it turned out that all those monsters are real. They don’t really scare me. Because if they’re real, then the Doctor is real, and that means that one of the kindest, oldest and most wonderful beings in the universe cares for us that much. That he saves us every time. And THAT would be incredible.
